I had given him that remedy when he came home on Monday as I was not sure of any other remedy but I had previously had success with Arnica in these situations. It feels good to know I did something right. Would you consider Calendula for help with the healing?

Today is Thursday. Barkley is doing fine and began to walk yesterday. He is taking Amoxi 100 Mg., one tablet every 12 hours. He does not seem to need the pain pills. Thes stitches are begining to itch but I am reluctant to put anything on them. I do not want to encourage him to lick them. The right leg is still wrapped, the hock laceration has not closed yet.

Otherwise he is being treated like a Middle-Eastern prince, hand cut organ meats, fresh sheets and lots of family hugs.
