Thanks for the recommendation. I'll try it. As for Mouse's personality, she is a little grouchy, but very attached to me. She loves food of all kinds but never drinks a lot of water. She is sensitive to cold and insists on sleeping fully covered. She is very defensive of her space and barks nonstop at strangers, both dog and human. However, she gets along quite well with my two other dogs and my cat. She is on the top of the pack, even though she is about 30# smaller. About two years ago she got a cataract in the left eye but her right eye is fine. She also tends to grow plaque on her teeth quickly, and had her four front bottom teeth pulled about 1 year ago. Two weeks ago she was bitten on her face by a dog and had to have stiches, which healed quickly and well, although I am wondering if the attack might have triggered the disk problems. I would love to hear if you have any more suggestions for her; she is coming home from the hospital and I want to help her recovery as much as possible. Also, would you recommend acupuncture to help her back? Thanks, Raven.
