Diana,

Your instinct NOT to take the remedies was correct.

What you describe about this "homeopath" - does not sound good or authentic.

A homeopath does not mix remedies.
They give one remedy at a time and wait to see what happens with your case/symptoms.

A homeopath does not use machines to diagnose what the problem is.
They take your case history along with whatever is bothering you NOW - and then they analyse these things before deciding which (single!) remedy to give you.

People who use machines to 'diagnose' and give patients mixed/multiple remedies may like to call themselves homeopaths - but they are not - so it is wise to be cautious.

Homeopaths:
Take a full case
Use a Single remedy at a time
Give a Single dose at a time

It's always better to try to get a referral to a homeopath from other homeopaths who know their work and which methods they use. It's not always easy for unsuspecting patients to tell who is really a homeopath and who is not. Maybe someone here will know of a good one for you.

I hope you find good help soon!
Best wishes,
Lisa
