Default RE: RE: Peter Chappell - PC1 HIV/AIDS

Well..
cardinal points of homeopathy - would certainly start with the proximate Latin meaning of the word homeopathy, which we generally translate:

Similar Suffering (homoios pathos)

medicinal substances are used according to homeopathic principal "cure likes with like" (similia simillibus curentur)

similitude of medicinal substances is establihed thru "pathogensis" -proving; so that we can see what power a remedy will have to heal (ie, that which the remedy can cause in a proving, it can remove in dis-ease)

single remedy is to be used (otherwise, obviously impossible to adhere to previous points)

Peter's PC1 fails on all these counts to "qualify" as homeopathic treatment -though it does clearly share the distinction of "energy medicine."

Energy medicine, broadly defined, would be anything used to heal.. which is dependant on "energetic" non-physical interaction.. mayhe one could say anything which is not based in bio-chemical interactivity.

Usually "spiritual healing" would come under its own category, leaving a number of recognized forms of energy medicine (the shortlist)

Homeopathy
Radionics and other similar (where Peter's PC1 falls closest)
Acupuncture, accupressure, Qi-Gong (Chi Kung, etc)
Cranio-sacral type of osteopathy (note: chiropractic work may sometimes have unintended/unmonitored energy-work effect.. in other words- COULD 'antidote' or otherwise interfere with energy-work)

The long-list would go on for pages, to satisfy everyone who wished to be included.
