Question

Hi GM,
Three days since Ernie had his 200C arnica. The next day, he started acting really "nuts". Racing about, diving under things, twitching all over, snapping at imaginary flies, growling, making very odd "huuummmm" noise with each bit of food, but stopping when food in mouth, eating/drinking ferociously but would not do either unless dish put in front of him, outer/inner ears and mouth reddened, ears hot to touch, wild-eyed look mixed with confusion and discomfort.

Have him in very quiet, darkened, secluded place now....which helped, I think. Put a few drops of Chamomile herbal extract (homemade, so may not be as effective as commercial product) in his water which he drinks with "violent" energy...the same way he is eating....as if he's never been fed or had water before! Do not know if the Chamomile or the seclusion has helped but he has settled somewhat since being in the "safe" place. He purrs if stroked, likes to be combed but will not hold still, in constant nervous motion when I am in his room. He is apparently quieter when alone and is not objecting to being kept separate. A very stressed out cat. His actions were so peculiar that I think someone might consider him rabid acting. Did the Arn bring out symptoms from having had rabies inoculations years ago? He has, in the past, exhibited some of this type of behavior but not to this extreme.

Should I stop the use of the extract? Just wait this out? Have used the olive oil once per day in and on ears but he still is very protective of being touched there. Any suggestions what, if anything, to do? Thanks.
