When this turns into an infection, he does have a fever,(low) & his throat is red, but he says he sounds clear in his chest & lungs. I don't take his temperature at home. He eats less, but never completely loses his appetite. If he gets choked trying to swallow his food, with his throat so sore, sometimes he will throw up. The vet never mentioned asthma, just said that he has the same thing a lot of us humans in Texas have & that is " allergies". I can't buy this, as with Joker, it is year round, in all kinds of weather!
