on wednesday I discovered my 3 yr-old daughter had pinworms after she had been complaining about an itchy bottom and sore vagina and I had a look in the night with a torch and saw a thread-like white worm.
Interestingly CINA is one of the remedies that came up as her constutional here recently ("Questionnaire" 14 September. David JK suggested it was the remedy that covered most of her complaints. So i was pleased to be able to try it confidently as it is the main indicated remedy for worms too. has she perhaps in fact had worms for a long time hence cina indicated?
i have been giving her cina 7ch 5granules x3per day for 4 days now. Her teeth-grinding seems to have stopped immediately. She seems to be sleeping better too. I haven't been able to see any worms, but how do i knpow if they have gone. I went to the regular doctor too initially who said it was very important to stop the cycle and that the medication (mebendazole) is very well tolerated and need only be taken once. I haven't given her this but I would if i can't get rid of it soon naturally.
I intend to stop cina tomorrow since i believe there has been a significant improvement. Is that right? and i have read that whatevewr treatment should be repated after 2 weeks with worms since that is their life cycle. in case any eggs now hatch later. Is it ok to give a remedy like this ?ie. in case
I am also following snoopy's advice to give her nat phos as she said that it sounded like (from her last health problem with mpouth ulcers) she had an alkali-acid imbalance. worms i suppose would firther any such imbalance so i started her on nat phos 6x 4granules x3 perday. does that sound right and how long should i continue that for?
thanks for any advice
