This polarity I see in this case is summed up in the statement 'loves to eat but is repulsed at the same time'
i.e. strong desire to make the connection (to love, to eat) but to break the connection as well (repulsed).
The rubrics I noted were:
Mind - ailments from love, disappointed.
Mind - ailments - rejected; from being
Mind - taste - sour
Kidneys - pain
Mind - indifference
Mind - Fear - Poverty
Mind - fear - alone, of being
Sleep - falling asleep, easy.
Basically, there was no structure, nurturing and love at home. (I can't help feel for this person) and this is all about a need to be loved.
The remedy which repertorises best is
Nat-m
which is very understandable. It has affinity with the kidneys, and has this making/breaking relationships issue.
However, the remedy to give him is saccharum (sacch), which is sugar.
This is because:
There is a lack of nurturing from day one. Ailments from disappointment, lack of affection.
There is a desire for sweetness. All of the above can lead to eating disorders which is key here and in this remedy.
The lack of function is compensated by finger/thumb sucking, desiring affection or the polarity, won't touch anybody or 'repulses' affection.
This ties back to the key feeling he has with food.
love to have it, but feels repulsed.
Too much sugar leads to irritabilty, crossness, insolence, moaning, morose, restlessness.
> physical exercise outside.
I would give 3 * 30C of sacc. 1 at night, 1 morning, 1 night and monitor for a month.
I would expect the whole pattern of his life to come more into balance. This strong polarity at the centre of the case (love/repulse) should come more into balance. Relationship with girlfriend should improve, sleep patterns should revert to more normal pattern, eating symptoms should show a marked improvement.
