Hello All,

Reading a bit of Andre Saine re lack of symptoms in cancer cases. He mentioned that he either ....well, let me quote him....

"In cases of defective disease, lacking in associated symptoms, two strategies André relies on heavily are looking at clues from the childhood history, and using the symptoms which arise in acute conditions. In some instances he must actually wait for such conditions to develop in order to find the curative remedy. He is encouraged when a cancer patient develops pneumonia, for example, since the characteristics of the untreated pneumonia may lead to the remedy needed to address the cancer. Pneumonia symptoms will call for the same remedy needed for the chronic disease in as many as 50 percent of the patients who contract it. Half of cancer cases are defective at present, although this number is greatly increased by palliative interventions."

I know from the experience of one friend battling cancer, who developed pneumonia responded marvelously to a small dose of Phos. She was up and at'm for a few days after but couldn't be convinced to see a real homeopath, even after feeling the results of one that one little pellet. Humans aren't very smart, sometimes.

My most important person, kitty named Bert, has a bleeding, cancerous tumor in the area of his left axilla . Would it be the right homeopathic approach to go back to his early dis-ease expressions to try to find a remedy that would be suitable since the only symptoms currently present are those of the cancer itself?

He has had no allopathic treatment, yet, other than a blood transfusion as blood and bone marrow tests showed he isn't producing red blood cells. The vet oncologist has every intention of surgically removing his tumor, if the RBC count can be raised. This thought of surgery scares me horribly but if we submit these animals to those vets, we lose control. I feel the transfusion is not successful as he has not exhibited any increase in energy or vitality after 3 days. I feel he has hemorrhaged more blood than was given in the transfusion.

(Bert has had a couple of comfrey (symphytum) poultices which seemed to benefit him but not able to do now as the tumor is *open*, bleeding/discharging.)

Bert has been on the Ramakrisnan protocol for the past 4+ weeks with no substantial improvement. The vet oncologist blamed the lack of RBC production on the homeopathic remedies. (He was on Carc/Ars Br first 4 weeks and now on Carc/Caust.) Is there any reason to suspect Ars B or Carc for halting RBC production? I've read as much as my traumatized brain/broken heart can absorb and can't find that these remedies are the causation of lack of RBC production. A wonderfully wise homeopath has suggested that this lack of RBC production is the symptom of cancer, not the remedies. At this point, would it be advantageous to go back in his early *childhood history*, of which I have 16 years, to seek a remedy for this current cancer state?

Edit: sorry about the highlights on the web site address posted...it was due to a google search.
