Since people have begun to talk about this case, I guess it's ok if I chime in too.

To me, the rubric that explains this case is:
Headaches, sleep, loss of sleep, from late hours.

Cocculus is the only "3" in this small rubric; it is also a 3 for Headaches, occiput.

Nux Vomica is also a contender, a "2" in the first rubric, a "3" in the second.

Nux scores higher than cocc. in the rubric
Thirst, extreme.

In the rubric, Thirst, general; they are tied at "2". So, it would be either nux or cocc. in my opinion.

The soreness of body, heavy eyes, are all common symptoms in sleep loss, not characteristic.

Ghazi, I think it's more interesting to everyone if we discuss the cases after a few days rather than just waiting to hear by email what the remedy was.
