Actually, Arshad, you didn't read my post very well.

The Law of Similars is a natural law, it is applied to plants every day and is curative if it is applied correctly.

Though we cannot expect to glean information from plants via language, we can see the effect of prescribing on plants with our eyes, our ears, our noses, our sense of touch, and even our sense of taste; in this way, we have accumulated CLINICAL knowledge that is relevant. We can see that if we match the symptoms presented by any living organism to the symptoms we know result from remedy provings and find a good match, we will cure. Clinical information is not our first line of reference--proving information is; however clinical information on every remedy has been gathered for over 200 years and this information has also shown itself to be useful and reliable in practice. We can, in fact, use the information we acquire clinically to treat plants and animals other than human ones.

The Law of Similars always applies, regardless of whether or not we actually "prove" a substance on a plant.

The Similia principle is not the correct term for the Law of Similars on which Hahnemann based his understanding and teaching and practice of homeopathic medicine.
