Dear Snoopy and Carole,

Thank you, I appreciate your replies. I do have knowledge concerning Homeopathy. Yes, the question I asked was simplistic requiring clarification. Yes, strict individualization is required to ensure the success of classical homeopathy for each patient.

Here are more details concerning the case. This is an woman in her late sixties. She has a delicate disposition similar to the clingy and dependent Pul. When others meet her they automatically want to help her, protect her and feel very loved by her presence as she is more gentle than a lamb. She writes poetry and historical stories. Yet previous to being placed in a skilled nursing facility for recovery from a fall (hip fracture, likely from lack of calcium), she was agoraphobic unable to meet with many strangers. Allowing only family members and long time friends into her life, was a little old lady living alone in her house. She would not bear strangers, would rarely leave the house and only with "safe" people. She believes that unknown strangers (she calls these people "them") come into her house move things around, and attach chips inside her body and cause her to have pain through their remote control units. She has had unusual thefts take place with mysterious consequences. She refused to take any medications or vitamins for over 30 years because she believed they were adulterated rendering the substances ineffective. After taking some antipsychotic medications she has become peaceful and tranquil rarely speaking of these people that harmed her so much previously. She still believes "them" are still there but is not overwhelmed continuously by the influence of these "delusions". She believes that everyone suffers from these types of problems concerning the unknown but are not consciously aware of them. She will say "just because the doctors say they are "delusions" doesn't mean they are not true".
Daily exercises have been part of her routine for the past 60 years. She is thin and petite with long hair. Her hair has been a problem (dirty like Psorinum can). She smiles when she looks in the mirror.

The main physical complaint, once in a while she suffers from incontinence when she cannot make it to the bathroom quickly enough.

She loves to have Starbucks coffee, likes ice cream, needs to have a salad everyday, and enjoys Ensure drink supplements.

She has not taken any remedies in the past but is open to trying. A complete transformation has taken place due to the antipsychotic drugs, but is there hope that a homeopathic remedy might help wean her from these drugs?

Aside from the current issue how do each of you feel about the term "polychrest"? (I realize the term would not be used for this question) Is there such a group of remedies. Nux v, Sul, Silica?
