Today the patient called from Delhi to tell how it went. Here is the update I just recd -
"Immediately after taking that medicine that day, I developed a very severe pain in my right eye. It have never felt anything like this before. It was as if my eye was being pressed very forcefully. The pain decreased in a couple of hours. Along with the pain in my eye, I also felt that the pain in my back was also decreasing simiultaneously. There was a very strange feeling in my back as if I could 'feel' the pain going away. When I woke up next morning, I had no pain in my eye and my back. The back was totally relieved.
It has been nearly 10 days since that medicine and I have been feeling much better. I seem to have regained my confidence. I am working full steam for my research projects and those strange feelings do not seem to bother me any more. I seem to have found my old self again. My energy levels are great and people around me are noticing the change too."
- what about that feeling of 'I know nothing' and 'dwarfishness'?
"Well! those feelings were very uncharacteristic of me. I just do not know why I was feeling that way. But since past week or so the thoughts have not troubled me even once. At the moment all I want is to keep working, fulfill my dreams and right now i feel confident enough to do that. I have been sleeping better too since past few days.. I will call you up again before I leave for UK. Thanks"
Well! So I guess the premise was right.
