MS is an umbrella name to cover a host of symptoms. There may be a 100 or more different types of MS caused by numerous things and giving a great variety of symptoms. Each patient will show different sets of symptoms and homeopathy will treat each patient according to their individual symptoms.
Person with MS usually have a higher requirement for certain nutrients, or their body doesn't convert certain fatty acids into essential fatty acids so the myelin sheath becomes thin and causes short circuits resulting in much distress and symptoms. So the essential fatty acids are given to these patients. That is a whole area of it's own based on symptoms to know what nutrients to provide.
Along with homeopathy these patients get extremely good results. They only get limited success with nutrients only. The advantage that homeopathy has is that it will correct the problems in the body allowing this to happen. Causes need to be carefully considered and removed if possible. Some causes can be amalgam fillings, radon vapours, chemical sensitivities, etc.
I have seen a patient with fast progressing MS that was only given six months to live be cured with homeopathy. This patient had used diet, herbs, mega vitamins etc to no avail, and when homeopathy was started the progress was steady. It is now twenty years later and this person now lives a normal life.
Another patient had no peripheral feeling in her body for fifteen years and even that was cured. She was a case of long standing MS.
There are many good homeopaths that can give excellent treatment for this kind of ailment.
