Thankyou all for your advice. Since our boiler has been fixed we are all gradually improving. We are moving to N.Ireland in the next 14 days, so I am trying to source a classical homeopath there. Unfortunately my homeopath in London is on holiday (which is why I posted this query). I am capable of prescribing for acute's only, and feel the CO poisoning is out of my scope. I feel my youngest baby will need deeper treatment, as he seems to be the worse affected. At the moment has severe diarrhoea and vomiting for 2 days. He seems to have responded to Bell 200 when he threw a very high fever last night, and I could not get it down with just sponging. Today I gave him phos 200 after a vomiting/ diarrhoea episode. He is also teething, and has a cold/ runny nose. Phos is his constitutional remedy, and he has been prescribed it many times by my homeopath over the last few months for recurrent colds/ coughs, and it has always worked well with him. Is it advisable to use 200 potencies when you are sure it is the right one, and the symptoms are severe??? I always obey the minimum dose, and wait for a response. Even though I am treating him 'acutely', I am concerned that perhaps I should also be considering the CO exposure. Would it be okay to keep prescribing acute, and just wait and see how it all pans out....or should I make an effort to find a now homeopath in London before we go. Although, for the whole family it would be very expensive to go to a new homeopath for just one session and then move.
Incidently, I have been suffering from extreme exhaustion and chilliness in my extremities - but I seem to have picked up ( and warmed up) amazingly since giving myself one dose of Cal carb yesterday. I was treated last year for various symptoms, and I still fit the picture.
My eldest son has complained of a sore belly for a week now, but with no other symptoms, and it seems mild. I have not given him any-thing, as he seems okay otherwise and in good spirits. However, if it is an effect of the CO, should I consider treating it???
