Does any-one have any advice on the long-term effects of exposure to carbon monoxide, and if homeopathy can help eliminate the toxic effects. My 3 young children (all under 5) and I have been suffering from various complaints for the past 8 weeks - headaches, flu-like symptoms, complete exhaustion, nausea and various bouts of vomiting. I have also recently began to have poor circulation and am suffering from extreme chilliness (could this be related to CO, or merely coincidental???) Our boiler is in our living room, and we have spent the last month indoors (heating on) due to chickenpox sweeping through the family. Last week our boiler was condemned and I discovered it had been giving off CO fumes for at least 8 weeks . We have been checked over for immediate effects, however I am concerned about the impact long-term. Now, in hindsight, our symptoms seem to correlate with exposure to CO - for at least 8 weeks when the pilot light 1st started to play up. The chickenpox proved to be a bit of a red herring, as I attributed the headaches/ exhaustion, etc. , for the effects of the virus. Any information on this topic would be appreciated.
