I have a small doubt and hope that anyone of you would be able to clarify the same, is it true that homeopathic medicine can be taken along with the Allopathic medicine to cure the same illness at the same time.

For example if somebody has a virus fever can he take Homeopathic medicine as well as Allopathic medicine at the same time to cure the virus fever. To me it looks very illogical but my friend says there is no problem in taking both English and Homeopathic medicine simultaneously, by the way my friend is not an homeopath.
