Hi Simone,
It could be something to do with Isaac Golden's current run of popularity. I think the AHA hosted a seminar by him about 6 months ago. I didn't go, but a prophylaxis schedule I've seen from another West Australian site recommending his literature seems to me to be a strip of jam short of an iced vovo.
I think the AHA did put out a disclaimer about homoeopathic prophylaxis some time age and then left it with individual members to decide how to address the issue with their own patients. I notice on the official AHA website they have a disclaimer about the Meningococcal "Vaccine" which says...The AHA does not endorse the use of any homeopathic product derived from the meningococcal vaccine as a replacement for the vaccine.
Chris
What is alarming is the rationale behind using these schedules. That Hahnemann was initially impressed with Jenner's trials with cowpox in vaccination against smallpox. Don't these people read any history in the proper context??
