Hi Eveyone,
I hope that someone out there can help me. I have been using Homeopathy to treat my children for almost 8 years now, but I must tell you I am unschooled at it and completely self taught. Forgive me if I don't present a complete case. You can ask as many questions as you want and I will try to answer them.
Background: I have 3 children, 7.5yrs boy, 3.5yr boy, and 21 month old girl. I was having such a difficult time with my eldest that I did not want a third child, but my husband talked me into having one more. I was too overwhelmed at the time with the behaviour of my eldest to want the last one.
Anyway the last 2 are 23 months apart which was very stressful for me during pregnancy with feelings of being overhelmed.
Pregnancy: was fine. No morning sickness, but contractions began at 4 months. I didn't let it slow me down though, just kept on going. Baby came at 40 weeks gestation, which was late compared to the other 2 born at 39 weeks. She had very little vernix. Was born in less then 1 hour, start to finish. At 39 weeks, I found out that my midwife was out of town, so in my mind, I was not ready to labour until she returned. At 40 weeks I was ready, had everything in order for the baby, emotionally. Easy labor, but too fast. Midwife walked in just in time to catch the baby, as I birthed her in the bathroom. Lucky I planned for a homebirth.
Baby: Colicky since the day she was born.
Came out screaming. White coated tongue, constipated. She would arch her back. Never slept, except for 15-20 minutes at a time. I was taking handfuls of Advil after labor as I was in such pain with afterbirth contractions and I couldn't find a remedy that would work.
She was treated by a homeopath with either Antimonium Crudum or Ant Tart. I can't remember. Colic went away in 3 days. Still, she was never a good sleeper, and never really had regular bowl movements, unusual for a completely breastfed baby.
Introduced solids at 8 months. She was never a good eater, but always nursed well.
I now worry about her because she seems to be very aggressive for her age. She will look at her brothers and hurt them on purpose. She knows what she is doing. If she is scolded, she crys and screams like someone is torturing her. Her feelings are hurt easily.
She loves her socks and shoes. Will not take them off at all during the day. Even wants to nap with them on. They are the first thing she wants to put on when she wakes up in the morning. Also, she still has that white coated tongue. Her speach, I feel is very delayed for her age. She only has a handful of words, and can only string 2 words together at a time. Hi Daddy and By Daddy
She loves talking on the "telephone" and pretends everything is a telephone. She loves music and will dance whenever she hears it.
She is a poor sleeper still. She sleeps in our bed, and won't sleep unless we sleep with her. She is the last child to go to sleep for the night and the first one to wake up in the morning. She sometimes naps during the day.
Another important point is that she was a headbanger. She would bang her head onto floors, highchairs, walls or anything else when she was angry. We removed all artificial chemicals and salicylate foods from her diet and this headbanging has not returned unless she is off her diet for extended periods of time. Infact when we keep her on a strict diet, her sleep patterns are much better. Generally she is a happpy baby. But will not be left with anyone she doesnt know. She will scream the whole time that I am gone for other people. Not easily distracted.
Any suggestions for me on what to treat her with? She will sleep in my arms, but when I put her down in bed, she immediately wakes up. Unless she is exhaused.
Growth wise, she is very pettite. Small head (10%), average height and weight (50%).
Let me know if can answer any other questions. I would appreciate any help that you can give me. She has never been treated with allopathic drugs. Her oldest brother is now doing very well on Lyssin. We have seen dramatic changes with him. And middle one is Arsinicum.
Thank you in advance.
