I think you two should get a variety show... seriously thanks for the *thoughts*, but I think gpm you do not give yourself enough credit -your *thoughts* and previous observations are always helpful!
In my experience I have seen more brilliant results in cats when using higher potencies, but I have a problem with confidence in my ability to prescribe properly, so I tend to want to "test the waters" at a 30ch. Even on advise of a trained homeopath I have seen horrible agrevations with Puls and Kali bi in particular and I once caused "mock siezures" after dosing a weakened cat with Sil 200ch (she was OK in the end, but I was freaking out!). I guess because its viral and I know she will get better eventually, I'm kind of being cautious (not wanting to cause anymore discomfort).
I also want to be fair about the ign -perhaps I was expecting too much. Yes the nasal discharge did change colour after the ign. Anna was suggesting ign primarily because it addressed her hanging head and grief. She still puts pressure on her head while she sleeps and when I feed her, but when I think about it, if the cat is alert, she isn't really drooping her head and drooling, like she did before the ign, so perhaps I was too hasty in reporting no real change. I'll see whats new with the cat tonight and unless I see clear indications of a particular remedy, I'll hold off until I can report in detail tomorrow morning.
