Anna, your guess is as good as mine. I was able to somewhat exam her mouth last night. It doesn't appear very red or sore at all. This morning she had eaten both the raw and prescription diet and tucked into it this morning as well.
I so desperately want to let her go. Perhaps I will start to just offer the raw and see what happens. I have noticed however that she is definitly much more skittish lately. It was nearly impossible to wrap her in a towel for examination last night (with help and everything). When I clean her kennel, she is constantly trying to escape and is less tolerant of my hands coming anywhere close to her again.
She does not drink any water, but she is urinating normally so I expect she is getting enough water through her food. Her stool is also normal.
Curiously, she always starts to eat better after she has been traumatised by an exam???
