hello sha,

Abnormal involuntary movents are of 5 types.They are Tremor,Chorea,Myoclonus,Tics,and Torsion dystonia.

Chorea consists of continuous flow of irregular,jerky,and explosive movements that flit from one part of the body to another in random sequence.The common causes of chorea are;

Syndenham's chorea
Huntington's chorea(thyrotoxicosis,senile chorea,SLE,encephalitis lethargica etc)
Drug-induced chorea(alcohol,neuroleptic drugs)
Hemi chorea (stroke,tumour truma)

Tremor is a rhythmic sinusoidal movement of a body part,due to regular rhythmic muscle contraction.The common causes are;

Rest tremor(parkinson's,extra pyramidal diseases).
Postural tremor(thyrotoxicosis,alcoholanxiety states,wilson'diseases etc).
Intension tremor-brain stem diseases,Multiple sclerosis etc
