May I offer another perspective?

Dear Joel,

It is natural to want to cover all bases, to ensure that all possibilities for cure or alleviation are being attempted, which is obviously why you have come on to this site asking about remedies.

When this type of pathology has advanced so far, there are some remedies that may facilitate a peaceful transition. But of course, there are also allopathic proceedures that will enhance a peaceful transition too. Allopathy excels at pain-killing medication, and in most hospital settings there is a time when a decision is made to quit medical intervention and allow the patient to make as peaceful a transition as is possible. One of the greatest fears we have, as the people witnessing the passing of a friend or loved one, is that they are experiencing physical pain. In a hospital setting with caring staff this would undoubtedly be kept to the absolute minimum. I hope this is of some assurance to you at this time.
