We just recently took in a cat and I have been trying to stop her diarhea ever since!
* emaciated, eyes sunken
* dehydrated from constant fluid loss
* little to no thirst
* slightest amount eaten yields immediate diarhea
* stool is watery, brown, completely liquid
* gushing, flatulance, projectile, spurting evacuation
* odor is normal
* cat is restless and very peevish / vocal
* very little appetite, although she does appear to want to eat
* old cat, teeth elongated and "old" looking, no inflamation noted in mouth; appears OK
* suspect system failure (kidney most likely)
The fellow who found her called back to enquire after her and I suspect it was his cat, he confirmed that the least amount eaten went straight out the other end.
I started her on China, which seemed to help her appetite but not her diarhea; went to Ars which she aggrevated on (mental symptoms, very restless, unable to console her) I dosed her down and relieved the agrevation but not the diarhea; last remedy Lyc with no change of anything. I'm stuck... any sugestions? The China given was at a very low potency (6ch), I'm wondering if I should go back to it at a higher potency as its the only good fit I can find.
