One way to ensure a return that works pretty well is to schedule the follow up while the patient is in the office. Then call the week before the follow up to remind them. Most people are use to doing 'what the doctor says' and will keep the appointment. I also tell people before they firt see me that I expect a six month commitment from them or I won't take the case, and I explain that I do a lot of the preliminary research at the first visit to determine which remedies they might possibly need as the case progresses. I also explain that they may need only one remedy, but it's also likely that they will need a series of remedies over time.
