Hi Sam,

There is objectivity and then there is Objectivity. The problem with treating ourselves is that the most important symptoms to ourselves are the ones that bother us the most. A trained homeopath knows how to look at the case and determine what are the keys to the problem. So to be Objective in the homeopathic sense, we not only have to evaluate our symptoms based on how important they are homeopathically, rather than how important they are to us as individuals; but we also have to have a deep understanding of the homeopathic philosophy in order to determine the core issues of the case.

I understand that it's hard to find a well trained homeopath in many parts of the country. However, there are a number of good ones in Michigan. It's not at all unusual to travel several hours to go to someone. I travel some distance to see my homeopath, even though I, myself, am a practicing homeopath.

Even though it's difficult for you to relinquish control and to open up to someone, even that will be considered as part of your case by a good classical homeopath. I'm afraid that you will just keep going in circles trying to do this yourself. If you e-mail me privately and let me know where you are located, I will try to find someone you can trust. The other option would be to go to Dr. Leela's site and see if she will take your case over the internet.

I'm sure the right remedy will really help you, but it is important to find the similimum and not keep taking a lot of things that are merely in the ball park.
