First of all, ask for all the reports. They will provide a clearer idea, at least to some extent, of the nature of the disease and the details of treatments the child has undergone.
Also try to get all details about the medical history of the child since birth.
Secondly, ask about the family history, both paternal and maternal. This will give a fair idea of the miasmatic background.
Thirdly, ask details about the health of the mother during the pregnancy and what treatments did she receive, especially enquire about the vaccines she might have been given. Any special events.
The idea of giving the patient the product of his own disease has been tested in allopathy as well and discarded because it did not work, although, initial reports gave some encouraging results, or at least it seemed so. The theory of nosodes is quite different from that of Isopathy. We prescribe a nosode because it seems to be a match for the symptoms of the patient and not because it is the product of a certain disease.
Having said all this, I think, the better course will be to see a local homoeopath. I understand that there are a good number of homoeopaths in the USA. Barb or JW will provide you a list. As a Muslim, I believe, every disease is curable (failure is due to our imperfect knowledge at a given time) and pray to Allah Almighty for the child's recovery.
