Yes a lot of new names I'm sure (including me!). And its delightful to see you so young!
What I've found very hepful, is a prophylactic dose of Hepar Sulph 200 and Arnica 200 before any dental work.
In my opinion, an MVP should not pose as much a predisposition to infection as would, say a mitral stenosis or mitral incompetence. ITs almost like a normal varient, often asymptomatic.
But all my patients who refuse antibiotics have done well on the above suggestions with minimal bleeding, hardly any pain, quick healing and no infection following dental extractions.
