Dear Katie,

I'll try and help you; I'll look your symptoms up
in our repertory (book of symptoms and their remedies); in the meantime, could you tell us about your eating and drinking habits, what kinds of food you love and hate--same with drinks; and could you tell us what the cause of your fears are? Was there some sort of mortification you went through or grief after which you were never the same?

Tell us what makes you better or worse in general, for instance, you may be worse from cold--drafts, cold weather, cold food, etc.; or you may be better from cold, or music and dancing, or better from company and talking out your problems, or better exercise, better sympathy, better crying...; worse
at night, worse warm rooms, worse being alone...?
I don't mean to put words in your mouth, but if we don't give examples, people say, "I'm better from Asprin, worse from Midol...."

Tell us what time of day or night is worst for you.

Tell us how you react to stimuli, like light, noise, conversation, touch, etc.

What is striking about you physically; for instance, if you were blonde or a red head or had freckles or other skin things, or a ruddy complexion, or anything that stands out about the body or face would be of interest to us. Of course, you already mentioned the perspiration, which is very good--just what we need to know.

Were you ever without these limiting problems?

Have you had injuries or infections you feel you've never fully recovered from?

Are you a hot or chilly person?

What sort of diseases are in the family history starting from grandparents, if you know?

Do you have any other fears besides speaking in public?

Do you currently have any infections? Any discharges?

Any digestive problems? Gas? Bloating? etc.

Well, if you had seen a homeopath, there'd be an intake form and you'd have had to answer all these questions and more, so...see what you've gotten yourself into?
