Thanks Loubiedoo for your lovely, encouraging post!
Its good to hear from you about your experiences. I am beginning to be more and more convinced that I have IBS. I guess it's a good idea to have the tests to rule out anything 'serious'. Though goodness knows this feels serious doesn't it?
The barium enema is a party isn't it?

I waved goodbye to my dignity for a couple of days then.
I am having fatigue as well, it's just not top of my list of things to worry about. But it is debilitating. I just assumed it was the pain and, as I said to Barb, not absorbing nutrients properly.
I find that the anxiety I have it's now related to things I have to do and worrying,'Will I be well enough?' etc. For example I worry about the school run.
I agree with you that stress makes it worse, so it's a bit of a viscous circle!
Thanks for the tip about the palmerosa. As a matter of fact I was having a bath at night with it last winter and it did help. I had forgotten about that. I found chamomile oil a bit too powerful. What about you?
I am doing a one year course at a local college in massage and aromatherapy. We are starting aroma after half-term. So I'm really hoping I'll be well enough to go back (I've not really been in since Xmas).
By the way have you started the carcinosin increasing in potencies yet? I am
wondering if anyone will answer your question. I am sure that there was a similar topic about increasing in potencies about a year ago (Lisa and Ricky).
Anyway don't let my story put you off. I know a lot of people who have made life changing progress with Carc. under good management.
My mother had chronic insomnia, and other problems. She was given Carc., when it was indicated, (by the homeopath I see now) and she just changed so much. The insomnia went, but what I really noticed is how she regained her personal power, took control of her life.
One of my best friends also has a similar story, with the same homeopath. She took a number of remedies. She was anxious about taking carc. but took it. Again she has never looked back. I don't think she'd mind me saying that she went from someone who was always doing what other people wanted to reclaiming her life. As a matter of fact she then told the homeopath that she felt so well she didn't want to take anymore constitutional treatment!! I am so proud of her.
Anyway I am glad you digestive problems have eased recently, and I'm grateful for your input today
