Hi Barb
Yes, I would like to try a colon cleanse and 'gentle'sounds good!
I am convinced that I am not absorbing nutrients properly, which just compromises my health further.
I have been given LMs and they work quite well. I would be very interested in Tommi's opinions on this, I would like to know why I am so sensitive.
Chamomile tea helps a bit but makes me sleepy.
I am hoping to get the results of the tests next Weds.
And yes life is very difficult. I really don't mind too much about the pain. I mind about the dizziness and the faintness. I mind about the way it stops me from being a normal Mum. I mean I have to ask for help with driving the children about and that affects my self esteem.
Yes, I have had problems with depression and anxiety. They are not too bad atm, but I have to work very hard at not letting all this get me down. And when I feel like this I really just want to be at home and quiet away from the madness of the world and everyone else's 'needs' and demands. Do you know what I mean?
Actually, what I would really like right now is to go away somewhere really quiet and peaceful on my own, wrap myself up in cotton wool and get well.
I also have to be on my guard against being misinterpreted atm. I am well known in my life by family, friends and acquaintances as the woman who had postnatal depression. I think they just think that this is me being anxious again. It is not the same AT ALL. WHen I am symptom free and well I feel happy, and contented and calm. When I have one of these griping abdo attacks I am restless (I can't lie still, or sit or stand or anything) and very distressed. I cannon concentrate and everyone thinks I am anxious.
I find that very distressing, it is the injustice of it all!
Back to the digestion problems!
Eliminating wheat and dairy helps in as much as if I eat wheat I have a terrible time for the next 48 hours or so. Dairy is not so bad I just get bloating and discomfort with that.
I have considered a candida diet. Have you heard of that? No fruit or sugar or mushrooms, yeast, etc. to eliminate that I might have a yeast problem.
Re carcinosin: When I went on carc. I had had digestion problems in the past but they had been in the upper GI tract, reflux etc. It had been quite bad, about 6 months before but not when I started Carc. When the diarrhoea started I felt that it was a cleansing of the digestive problems, and was quite positive that it was a healing.
So no, it wasn't completely new, but it was a new way of expressing it!
Thanks for your interest Barb, hope the info helps.
