There definitely is a homoeopath out there who has written this opinion that Carc can increase the risk of cancer - I don't remember his name though.

As regards your thoughts David, I don't think a direct analogy can be drawn between cancer and diseases which are associated with a specific bacteria such as TB, gonorrhoea or syphilis. Cancer is present in all of us, and is a fact of life in the body: it is kept in check by a healthy immune system. Only when the vitality is depleted is the balance lose and the cancer gains the upper hand, and is detectable as sizeable tumours.

In theory at least I can see the possibility that Carc could trigger cancer. Especially since it is used to treat cancer - anything which has the power to heal has the power to harm, depending on dose and susceptibility. ie. if Ramakrishnan has found that Carc reduces the size of tumours, then if we were to prove Carc fully it must have these symptoms.

These days I would only use the remedy as a last resort (when other well indicated remedies had failed)and with caution.
