As a midwife I see all kinds of rashes on babies. The ladies that said it will go away are correct. I do remind my clients to be sure to use a baby safe detergent and to rinse everything twice. The other thing to remember is that your baby is up against you and touching your clothing too, as well as your sheets and towels and stuff. It is a good idea to use the same baby safe detergent on all of these things. This can really make a difference in skin conditions of the mewborn.
