Hi all,
The whole family has come down with the flu/cold. I've been possibly able to help all of them, but myself. That's why I'd love your assistance.

Sx came on after exposure to cold. Monday night. (PST)

First a deep, painful cough, producing little yellow mucus. The chest and throat hurt for a while after coughing.

Fever up to 101°F/39°C with chills on feet/legs and up my back. Stiff neck and achy body. The bodyaches are better this morning.

Nose is stuffed with one nostril open alternatively. Mucus is yellow, tough to get down, very little mucus. That is the nighttime situation. This morning, violent sneezing with clear discharge.

Throat painful, scraped feeling, pain extending to ears. Most painful upon swallowing and after coughing.

Crave cold drinks, but hot drinks soothe better.
Forget to drink most of the time.
Lips/mouth dry.

Ears painful, extending up through the temples/forehead, forming something like a "paincirlce" up to forehead, down to throat.

Funny feeling as if I feel the roots of my hair mainly right over the forehead, but also behind the ears.

Moods: would love to curl up in bed and be left alone with no responsibilities. That's not possible though with 2 small children and one big one (hubby) , so I'm somewhat crabby, irritable, snappish.

I'll consider whatever you come up with and I really appreciate your help here, since I'm so blind when it comes to myself.
