Yes, it is definitely a good idea to take Gelsemium! Do you have a 30C? Put it in water.

Yes, take the Gels. And it might be a good idea to order a 200C just in case the 30 ever wears off. Don't worry about Gels. hurting the baby if it's a help to you. Whatever helps you will help the baby--speaking homeopathically.
