My experience:
My two children had whooping cough (despite the older one's having been vaccinated,) when I was first learning about homeopathy. They whooped, coughed, gagged, and vomited. I gave them Ipecac 30c, and the whooping stopped, but the other symptoms continued. I took them to the homeopath repeatedly, and he gave them various remedies according to the symptoms, and Tuberculinum, but the symptoms continued, all except for the whoop. They vomited about every 45 minutes, day and night, for 6 weeks. I was doing everything I could to get some electrolytes to stay inside
and I guess I succeeded, since they survived. Finally, I insisted to the homeopath that this had begun with a whoop, and he gave them Pertussinum 200c. Silence. We slept all night, not one more cough! It did turn out that I had to give it about every 2nd day for awhile, but then they were fine. He also gave a friend Pertussinum 30c for her child, and it didn't help. Only the 200c of mine helped her. :razz: Just thought I'd mention it in case someone else has the same response and the info might be helpful.
