Here's an interesting rubric: Murphy's Repertory,
Children: hide, desire to, fear of being assaulted, on account of-Ars.(2), Bar-c(2), Bell(2), Cupr(1), Op(1).

So, we basically have a fear of being assaulted, and Arsenicum is known for being a very clingy remedy that latches on and won't let you leave out of fear. Bar-c. is another remedy worthy of consideration--needy, helpless, etc.
