If you are thinking of Corsica and Sardegna does that mean you've already been to Sicily and its islands? If not, I encourage you to go, it is spectacular. I've been to Sardegna and it 's beautiful but Sicilia has it all. I can't believe too many places have more variety of terrain, architecture or town plans. The small island of Levanzo has neolithic and paleolithic cave paintings. Natale the caretaker will take you there.
