I use CARA professional. After researching the available software, I felt CARA gave me more bang for the buck. I've been very happy with it. But it really depends on what she wants to do with the software. What are her expectations. Does she want it because she doesn't understand how to reportorize a case and thinks the software will help her? If so, it won't help. She really needs to understand how to analyze and reportorize a case before any of the software will be of use to her.

She might also want to look at the stripped down home versions of of software, such as the one Dr. MAS recommended by McReportory. CARA also has CARA Light and there are others, too. There are also on-line versions that she could try before investing in her own copy.
