Congrats and hang in there... I don't think a first time mom (is that correct ?) would have a baby slide right out at home - even if she's in transition (hard labor), there's usually time to go to the hospital - then there's the pushing phase too... How long has she been in labor so far ? First time babies do tend to take somewhat longer than consequent births, even if a beneficial remedy has been given. Perhaps someone else is still up and can answer your remedy
question.
