Oh, and one thing I forgot,

if the child has been taking medications for Tourette they might be better without them, but of course you never interfere with medication unless you are a qualified medical doctor. If they want to come off medication, ask them to request their doctor if it is appropriate and if so, to come off it the proper way. Of course you do not want to risk anyone blaming you for anything to do with medication. However, you have the option of potentizing the drugs and administering to the child. It may or may not be helpful.
