There are a few treatment remedies. The vomiting problem would suggest to me that you try Arsenicum alb. first. The main remedy is China off. but Eupatorium, nat. Mur, Pulsatilla and Sulphur should all be considered. With homeopathic remedies a pillule is just left under the tongue to dissolve so your mother should be able to manage this.
Maybe there are homeopaths on the BB (Ben?) who have experience of malaria. What I have given you was from a modern book on the subject.
