I'm wondering whether there is any alternative treatment for severe malaria. I live in a reasonably isolated area with no local homeopaths or related practitioners.
My mother is currently critically ill with malaria caused by Plasmodium palsaforum. Her liver is being blocked, she is severely jaundiced, her lungs are being affected, her blood coagulation agents are decreasing, she has a rising bacteriological count in the blood, and has difficulty breathing. She's been severely ill for eight days and will now be placed on another three day course of high quinine doses. It is very uncertain whether she will survive this new treatment. I have been advised to administer Pau d'arco and omega three oil tablets. Problem is that she cannot take anything in whatsoever, vomiting all the time. This is where traditional medical science comes to a standstil. Does anybody in cyberworld know of anything else that could be useful? Preferablly injectable? Thank you very much.
