One thing to take in consideration is the fact that a hysterectomy in nearly all cases leads to an increase in weight. I must still see the first woman who has not gained weight after such a procedure. I like John's suggestion of Ignatia - sad, but laughing it off and keeping up a brave face. On the other hand, if there is a history of not having the energy to deal with life's problems,or even the everyday work of running the family, Cimicifuga can also be considered. To give an exact remedy for you, you may want to give us some more info, such as the worst time of day, food likes and dislikes, anycravings you have when you want to eat as a compensation for affection and so on.
