Hi,
She has had Silica, Tuberculinum, Belladonna and Lycopodium for her ear infection. Tuberculinum agravated it with no change for the better, she was then given belladonna which raised her temp too high (105) and we had to bring it down with motrin. We gave her Lycopodium(200c) a month later since her ears still had fluid in them, we saw some change to the better (sleeping e.t.c) and her homeopath gave her one more dose of lyc. 1M. This bought out a full blown ear infection with high fever and the fever lasted longer than a day and then she was given Belladonna which brought her fever down and cleared the fluid. A month later we were told by our GP that the rashes we were seeing was atopic ezcema. The homeopath tried different potencies of sulphur for that and there was no change. She is now on lyc 12c 2X daily. Here ezcema is getting better, but I don't know whether it is because of the lycopodium or because the homeopath gave us the go ahead to use zinc oxide diaper rash ointment (I've a feeling it is the zinc oxide that is healing the skin), she still has intense itching.
I just brought the "homeopathic treatment of eczema" by Robin Logan and am thinking of treating her myself. I'm not feeling very confident about our homeopath right now due to various reasons. (I read that lyc is a long acting remedy and should rarely be repeated and she gave her 1M 3 days after the 200c)
anyway, I just wanted to explain why I wasn't sure that my daughter was getting the right remedy and it turned out so long.
sorry about that
