Hi GM, glad to see you are back too. And no, I am not promoting any new book, as B.Jain is reluctant to publish, because homoeopaths have shown little or no interest, when approached by them. This is surprising to me, but not entirely unexpected. I do not think that homoeopaths generally are a progressive lot. They stick with the old and tested, and seem to not go beyond that.
There are also those who think that anything goes and are too progressive for their own and their patient's good. Mixing remedies, the theory of organ remedies, ascending potencies and other such stuff is indulged in as the fashion demands. But you are already familiar with that, so I write this for the benefit of others, like all my other posts.
I thank you GM, for sending me the info on Von Boenninghausen, although it was quite redundant, as I have used the 'pocket book' and his repertory for many years.
Personally, I see that homoeopathy is based on law and exactitude, and that these laws can therefore be applied in other fields, such as the one presented here. So I tend to follow law and exactitude and apply this everywhere, because this is the scientific method. Fantasy is something quite different, it is the stage where our ideas may come from. To realise them, it has to be tested on scientific principles and thus the greatest fantasy can become a reality. As Mark Twian said: "a crank is a man with a new idea - untill it catches on."
So I like to know whether you have experience with plants and remedies expressly or accidentally given to them and reactions you have noticed. I do not think it necessary to be so, as many people throw out a liquid preparation from which they hae taken a spoonful and do so quite thoughtlessly, because it does not enter their heads - they are concerned with people and not plants. As such this is entirely ok, nobody is asking us to be conscious of everything. So whoever has such experience, please post. And let us stick to the subject please, so as to educate ourselves and others about homoeopathy in all its applications, for that is what the BB is about.
