I assume here that Pat is talking about herbal hypericum, not homeopathic. (Correct me if I am wrong.) You may want to get on natural progesterone (see Dr. Lee's book: What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Menopause.) You would need a higher dose than in the over the counter cremes, so you would need to see a naturopath for it. You could also try strengthening your thyroid with Thyroid Glandular and take kelp. Of course, thyroid glandular is not vegetarian, but it is more natural than Armour. Another thought is to take Adrenal Glandular to strengthen your adrenals, as they help take over making female hormones after menopause if they are in good shape. Stress depletes them, so we could all probably use some of that! B Vitamins and C help there, too. As for remedies, could you list your food preferences by taste, not by what you know you should eat? And one more thought, consider Arnica 1M and Aconite 1M for panic. Arnica tends to say, "Leave me alone, I'm just fine." and Aconite has a fear of death associated with it. If that is not sufficient information you could go to www.lyghtforce.com and go to the Medicine Garden articles to read about Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. They have an extensive discussion on those two remedies for mental use there.
