I just got home from the vet. They wanted to wait to after office calls to examine her and decide whether to sent her to emergency kennel or let me take her.

I asked if I could see her in the meantime. And I told him i was going to give her a remedy and he said ok. And then he asked if I could try to get her to eat. She ate some chicken baby food and some canned cat food off of a spoon for me. So he loaded her up with fluids and let me bring her home for the night. She's sleeping in the corner now. I've given her the Ignatia in water 3 times. And I will try feed her again later. What should I look for now?

He wants me to bring her back in the morning so he can check her and put her on the IV for longer. He should also get the blood tests back tomorrow. Cross your fingers.

Thanks for your help. Do you think this was because she felt displaced by the puppy? I could kick myself because I thought of giving Ignatia to her when we got the puppy but didn't. I'll let you know how things go. Thanks again,
