I recently posted a request for information on tourettes syndrome and homeopathy.
Thank you Rochelle for your response suggesting this be taken care of through a professional practitioner and constitutional treatment. That was my intention and the reason I asked for information regarding this subject, to help these parents understand that this disorder could in fact be treated through homeopathy.

I am new to homeopathy (had never heard of it before January of this year). I am convinced that this can help in a great many areas where allopathic medicine falls short. My experience with and inability to find documentation has been limited. Hence the reason for asking those of you that have dealt with or know of cases that could be refered to and passed on to those who may benefit from homeopathy, but have no knowledge. To give someone who has never heard of homeopathy a Materia Medica to read and suggest that this is all the reasurance they need that this may be the solution to their problem is not the solution, in my eyes. I understand this is not everyones opinion, just one suggestion made to me.

To comment on my limited knowledge and experience as being "feeble", does not help others give homeopathy a chance or even try to understand this unique and wonderful way of healing. I think it's a shame that these cases are not documented and that the excuse used is, that doctors don't acknowledge homeopathy and they control the information that gets out there to the public.

I have been visiting this BB for several months now and find that a lot of you offering help and advise do so because homeopathy has been a part of your lives for several years. Some of you have been fortunate enough to have been involved for a life time or so it seems. I enjoy the discussions and debates and acknowledge the many different opinions and experiences. But, I have also seen many people come to this sight for a little reasurance that a particular ailment or disorder can be dealt with through homeopathy. Most are grasping at straws. My challenge to those of you who have experiences, successes, etc. is to share them. Document them here on this bulletin board. Give some of these people something to read and digest. To tell someone they must have faith, to suggest that they are wrong to ask for examples of successful cases, that their questions are "silly" and because they haven't experienced what homeopathy can do, to me is feeble. Please share your experiences with these people asking questions. There isn't much comfort in being told, yes this can help, but I don't have any information to share with you. Seems to me the more each individual can contribute, the greater the knowledge circulating out there. What is the concern with "doctors" not acknowledging homeopathy? Are you not able to document and give examples of your own cases (successes)with out the approval of medical doctors?

I guess I'm frustrated with the lack of information to be found. It is sometimes easier for ordinary, everyday people that are not really looking to fully understand or practice homeopathy, to read about someone elses experience with homeopathy and how it worked for them or their patient. We sometimes just need something simple we can relate to.

As far as the question refering to my belief in homeopathy being "feeble", my answer to that is, no. My experience my be limited, my knowledge is growing, but this can only happen with study and from information passed on by those who are knowledgable and experienced.

Please, keep sharing as you are and if at all possible be willing to take some extra time to share more of your experiences and success stories with people who visit here. There are many that need encouragement to take the next step. I believe that a great many of the people seeking help are looking for someone to say "yes, homeopathy can help you. Let me give you an example how I have seen it work."
