Dear TV,

Boy, do I have a remedy for you! Spongia Tosta.

It has all your mother's symptoms: Enlarged heart, cardiac cough, difficult breathing, exhaustion with slight exertion and conditions of the thyroid.

I would have her take a Spongia 6C three times a day and evaluate after a month. Needless to say, she should stop if it makes her feel worse. She should also have a Spongia 30C on hand for any acute intense suffocative attacks; for instance, if she were to wake at night gasping for breath, take a dose (one or two pellets) of Spongia 30C and repeat as needed.

It seems like a well-indicated remedy. My information comes from Murphy's Materia Medica and Morrison's Desktop Guide.
